Crane is promptly mired in knee-deep mud
brought about by the previous day's all-day rain.
Crews were ready, though, with a bobcat and gravel. The stabilizer legs
of the crane
were used to raise its wheels, gravel was placed beneath,
and the crane was promptly backed into position
to the cheers of hundreds of on-lookers.
